This is an old repair of mine but a good example why you should not trust everything the Main Dealer tells you, the owner of this Audi R8 was gutted when he caught a low curb so went to Audi in Leicester for quote to put it right, they told him that neither of the 2 damaged parts can be repaired so quoted over £3300.00 to replace them, I repaired both parts in situ for a fraction of their quote.
