⛽ WHY DID DACIA GIVE THIS DUSTER TWO FUEL TANKS?
To give drivers more choice, greater combined range and the opportunity to reduce fuel costs.
This Dacia Duster Prestige has a factory fitted Bi Fuel system, allowing the engine to run on either petrol or lower cost LPG. LPG is currently around 95p per litre locally, compared with approximately £1.60+ for petrol. Even after allowing for the difference in fuel economy, driving on LPG could reduce fuel costs by around 35%. Over 10,000 miles, that could mean a saving of approximately £580.
The separate petrol and LPG tanks allow you to choose the fuel that suits the journey, while using both gives you far more distance between filling stops. LPG also produces lower CO₂ emissions than petrol, giving this Duster another important advantage.
You still get everything buyers want from a Duster too: SUV space, a higher driving position and a useful boot. Prestige trim adds Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Rear View Camera. This example also has Full Service History.
