I recently looked through my photos and must say that if I am unable to be as close as possible to the object the photos end up simply bad. And if it is raining it is even worse.
If I could compare photos from recent BDC event and from Riga last year the difference is dramatic.
Sun, being close to action and full focus is what makes a great photo. At least for me.
Here is for instance some recent shoot I made of my own car when U could take my time to think through the shot. Feel the difference.
That is why I am now stopping to be desperate to cover events I feel I cannot get the full potential of. I might just do small shoots from local events when I could see the car from close and talk to the owner and simply enjoy being there. That is what really makes me smile 😊
