After losing two of my closest friends, I made 4 memory quilts for the children who lost their mums. After borrowing an 8 foot Freestyle frame and a Janome 1600p machine from Marysia, I was so impressed how easy it mad

e quilting. Peter and Marysia were looking to retire so, I have now bought the business. We are called Cotton Orchard and sell Freestyle Quilting frames for free machine quilting. Our frames allow you at home to use your own sewing machine to free machine quilting also known as meandering stitch or stippling. The frame allows you to move your machine over the quilt using the needle and thread to draw on your quilt in a random design. The Frames can be stored away when not in use and are portable, fitting in a small car.
