David Cooke Historic Racing Now able to fulfil a childhood dream of racing cars that I played with on my scaletrix set - so lucky to have driven so many different cars!

At the age of 43 I had the opportunity to indulge in a passion that I had since a 10 year old watching Race of the Champions at Brands Hatch in 1965. I bought my first race car in 1997 and have had an amazing time meeting new and lasting friends and adding a bit of spice to my life that I missed after retiring from Rugby - although not very quick it gives me great fun, great memories and great friendships......and how I met my gorgeous wife Karen.

So much kit for the money…….go slay some giants with this road registered one off Lotus 11 GT aka Lotus Breadvan as designed by Graham Capel with Colin Chapman - mantra being a sportscar with a roof on it will always beat a purpose built GT car - they were right!
