A unique environment to facilitate and support your van-build dreams.

We know from our own experience just how difficult it can be to find somewhere safe, secure, warm, dry, flexible and spacious enough to undertake your van conversion projects, with many people resorting to undertaking conversions in unsuitable situations such as by the roadside or on driveways, much to the detriment of their own patience and angst of their neighbours sometimes! Sourcing your own p

rivate warehouse or unit as an alternative to complete your build is not for the faint hearted. It can not only be complex, difficult and expensive but it is also extremely rare to find somewhere suitable that provides the flexibility of not having to commit to lengthy, formal commercial property leases. To address this problem, we decided to create a dedicated facility and invite people from all around the UK and beyond to come and join our van build hub family, where you will be made to feel extremely welcome in a relaxed, friendly and hard-working environment. A setting which is tailor-made for you to use, learn as you build, contribute to the group and accomplish your own goals. It might be a simple re-modelling job, technology upgrade or a full scale build from scratch! Whatever the case may be, the van build hub will not only welcome you in but support and enable you.

Looking for a place to convert your own campervan?

A warm welcome to Rich who’s just arrived here at The Van Build Hub in sunny Ayrshire, Scotland :)

After a recent trip to Belgium he’s made his way up from Bristol to join us and work on a few things with his LWB Mercedes Sprinter van, including his electric bed, the walls and ceiling.

People from all walks of life and places across the UK are using the facility to work indoors in a safe, secure and fun environment with other like-minded folks.

A warm welcome to Kim & Lisa who arrived at The Van Build Hub here in Ayrshire this morning from Edinburgh. Here they are with Riley "The Foreman" :)

After 3 months touring Europe last year, they realised their van wasn't the way they wanted. It’s great to have them with us for 4 weeks to change the layout of their Mercedes Sprinter Campervan, making it more remote work friendly and to also re-do the electrics. They live in a flat and were finding it impossible to work on their van.

People from all walks of life and places across the UK are using the facility to work indoors in a safe, secure and fun environment with other like-minded folks.

Converting your campervan alone at home? Or by the side of a road out in the miserable cold, wet weather? We know from experience this can be no fun!

Make your project enjoyable and easier by using our dedicated facility to build your own DIY camper in a secure, safe, friendly, indoor environment, alongside like minded people.

This Van Build Hub work bay could be yours for just over £2 per hour with our “Unlimited” package which entitles you to almost 70 hours per week over 7 days if you can handle it! (minimum term is currently 1 week).

We are already welcoming our first arrivals to The Van Build Hub for 2024. Welcome to David (pictured here) with his Peugeot Boxer van which he is converting from scratch with the occasional help from family and friends.

Looking for somewhere to build or convert your own campervan?

We have just opened The Van Build Hub in Ayrshire, Scotland. The first of its kind in the UK, a unique environment to facilitate and support your van life/build dreams, providing any DIY enthusiast with a safe space in which to learn to convert their van at their own pace within a purpose-built warehouse, joining our socially and educationally beneficial community of like-minded people.

From only £299 per month per vehicle, which includes a multitude of privileges such as daily access, unlimited electricity, fibre broadband, allocated work bays with workbench, a selection of basic tools with access to other power tools/machinery, lockable storage cabinets, fully functioning kitchen, talks from industry experts and much more, it has everything you could possibly need.

We are offering a variety of vehicular and duration options, so as long as it has wheels and you have positive energy you are welcome to join us. We are taking early bird bookings now.
