fantastic well done team
Our U12 Warriors travelled away to Powick yesterday, to take on Division 1 L&B Badgers in the cup on a bright and fresh Saturday morning.
It was going to be a very tough game today and the two-league gap between the sides was clear to see.
Despite that, Warriors dug their heels in and displayed a determined and spirited performance.
For all of Badgers dominance, they were unable to convert through their own profligacy and some fine defensive displays and mercurial goalkeeping!
At half time it was 0-0.
Second half was more of the same, with Warriors struggling to offer much offensively and being overrun in midfield.
It was a good test today against superior opposition and to only lose by 3-0 was testament to a very hard working performance.
Coach Ste was extremely proud of the Warriors for their fight and determination in what could have been a very high scoring game.
Player of the Match went to two players who worked really hard, were solid defensively, helped keep the other team out and were calm and composed on the ball.
Great effort Swans 🦢⚽️
