PG Platforms has gone 100% Hinowa with the addition of three new spider lifts — the Lightlift 17.75, 20.10 and 26.14.

Due to retirement we are on the lookout for a category c (class 2) driver for our 32 ton beavertail lorry delivering access platforms in and around Kent, London and the south east.

Working hours are 10 hours per day Mon - Fri. Start time is based on location of first drop however is usually between 5 & 6am.

Powered access / IPAF experience preferred but not essential as we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.

All at PG Platforms are saddened to share that one of our operators, Steve Gardiner, passed away on Saturday 28th June.

He passed peacefully with his family by his side after a long fought battle with cancer.

He joined the company in 2019 helping out in the yard at first before moving on to truck mount operating, where he worked alongside his son Pete and swiftly became a favourite amongst our customers on site. Steve was a true gentleman, he always had time for a chat and was always willing to help anyone who needed it, he will be truly missed by all of us.

All of our thoughts are with Steve’s wife Jeanette, his son Peter and the rest of their family.

Philip Cuttings funeral will be held this Thursday 16th. As a mark of respect and so that staff can attend, our office will be shut from 5pm on Wednesday 15th and reopen at 7am on Friday 17th. Because of this, we ask that any hire requests for Friday are sent before 5pm on Wednesday.

We understand that our customers will still be working and using any equipment they may have on hire. There will be an option on our phone lines for breakdowns, we politely request that this is only used in the case of an emergency.

We thank our customers for their continued patience with us.

All at PG Platforms are saddened to share that Philip Graham Cutting has passed away.

He passed peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday 20th April.

Phil started PG nearly 40 years ago, and was the driving force behind the company for many years until he partially retired, although he was still very much involved until shortly before his passing.

His funeral will be held at Thamesview Crematorium at 1pm on Thursday 16th May, all that wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend. A celebration of his life will be held at the Boat House Strood afterwards.

RIP to a man we called, Phil, Boss, Friend, Dad & Grandad x
