GPMC are appealing for more marshals at their Heroes event at Weeton on Saturday 1st August. Please contact Chief Marshal [email protected] if you can help.

This event is a qualifying round of the SD34 Stage Rally Championship so if you aren’t competing why not volunteer and claim 27 points towards your 2026 campaign?

KLMC Targa taking place on the 17th of October 2026, Greystoke Forest.
Diagrams have now been signed off by the land owner and we can confirm it’s going to be 46 miles of tests entirely within the forest. No road mileage.

Following the recent Greystoke stages there are some substantial regrading works planned prior to this event. So please be assured the forest will be in tip top condition for road rally cars.

AWD cars are allowed and forestry tyres are highly recommended. Due to the nature of the venue we are having full safety and recovery crews in place. With this in mind we are only allowing cars to start with a minimum of a rear cage in the car.

Note for the diary, entries due to open at 7pm on the 24th of August.

Some sad news to share.

Carl Taylor of Low Bentham passed away on Friday 5th of June in the RLI aged 79 years.

Carl was a member of KLMC for some considerable time, helping out with the Malcolm Wilson Rally in times gone by and competing in trialling and Road Rallies.

The Funeral Service will take place on 22nd June at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Lowgill at 11:30am, followed by an interment in the churchyard.

Donations if desired are for the dialysis unit at Westmoreland General Hospital, which can be left at the Church or sent directly to Brown & Whittaker Funerals
