In this saturday for a cheeky tune, a 2018 BMW G31 530D M Sport X drive with MD1CP002 Ecu. Moderately powerful in standard form with 261 Bhp / 457 lb/ft of torque they are no slouch, but far better with a Celtic Tuning Stage 1 tune resulting in 330 Bhp / 586 lb/ft of torque.

Something newer and Ford based. A 2021 Ford Ranger EcoBlue Bi-Turbo with Continental SID212 ECU. Going from 210 Bhp / 369 lb/ft of torque to 245 Bhp / 410 lb/ft of torque with a Stage 1 map.

A different one for us today. The customer brought in a Fiat 500 2017 with a complaint that the dash camera had stopped working and airbag faults, body control faults and various other faults were occurring. A diagnostic scan revealed many issues including instrument cluster communication faults. It turns out the dash camera had been fitted using piggy back connectors, but connected to main systems on the car. When a fault occurred it took out the primary systems and caused lots of issues. All found, diagnosed and removed / back to standard in less than an hour. One happy customer and no warning lights or DTC,s.

We often get asked what a remap can do for fuel economy. Whilst it largely depends on your driving style I don't think a 150bhp stage 1 remap on a 1.6tdi CR Skoda Superb 2016 achieving over 70mpg as an average over 300 miles with 129k of engine wear is bad !

In today a 2010 VW Polo 6R for an amazing increase with a fast road Stage 2 remap. Going from a stock 88 Bhp and 170 lb/ft to 150 Bhp and 235 lb/ft, it's no slouch!
