Ford focus 1.0 eco boost, oil pressure warning light on the dash and started to misfire.
Another Wet belt broken up and blocking the oil pump.
Luckily this one was stopped and saved!

New wet belt kit and oil pump belt
Oil and filter replaced
Coolant replaced

Today a Renault traffic with an intermittent engine warning light.

Customer has previously had the boost pressure sensor replaced but still throwing up a code.

Checking the live and earth at the sensor I found there to be no 5volt feed.

Wiggling the wiring the 5 volt feed would return.

So I traced the wiring back and found the wiring to be corroded and then snapped.

Repaired the wiring and the fault has now clear 👍

Audi Q7 with a none start issue.

No ignition lights when key is inserted.

After a bit of research there is a known issue with the j518 control unit, steering column control unit switches.

Via ODIS the only comms is with Gateway, Authorisation and Steering column control Unit.
As there is no T15 (ignition feed)

Within the SCL is an active (permanent) fault for the switch status of the steering lock.

Buying a second hand module with the same part number, using XHorse VVDI Prog we cloned the original CU then transfered all origanal data to the new used module.

Successfully this worked and the vehicle now starts 👍

Today we have had in a VW Golf with a number of warning lights on the dash. Airbag, Engine management, Auto hold.
When running a Diagnostic scan there was no communication with the Airbag control unit.
Faults in the other control units were showing loss of comms with the Airbag control unit.
I gained access to the Airbag CU and tested Live and earth supplys, confirming to be ok.
Next I scoped the CAN communication wires and found no issue either.
With this concluded the vehicle requires a new Airbag Control Unit.
