FT650K – RS2000 ALLOY SUMP KIT

Our popular Es**rt Mk1/Mk2 RS2000 aluminium sump kits are back in stock!

Designed for Es**rts running the Ford SOHC Pinto, the sump provides the required clearance around the crossmember and steering rack.

But we’ve gone further than simply reproducing the original…

Our redesigned sump baffle provides significantly improved oil surge protection, keeping oil around the pickup under much more extreme driving conditions.

Featuring a one-way oil gate, allowing oil to flow towards the pickup but restricting movement away from it.

What a fantastic day at Bedford Autodrome for the Burton / MSV Trackdays trackday
It was a great opportunity to get some testing in with both the Focus ST170 and Fiesta ST, and it was brilliant to see such a great variety of cars out on track.

Andy’s ST170 was running really well until he started to feel a vibration coming through the car. Luckily, it happened during the trackday rather than during the MSV Trackday Trophy race weekend, giving us plenty of time to investigate the cause and get everything sorted and ready for the next race. 🔧

Tom was also putting the Fiesta ST through its paces after some previous issues. The testing has given us a few more clues, and it looks like the problem could be turbo related. Again, plenty of time to get to the bottom of it and have it fixed before we’re back racing.

A huge thank you to all the fantastic staff and marshals who kept everything running smoothly throughout the day.

All in all, a really enjoyable and productive day of testing. Now it’s back to the workshop to get both cars checked over and ready for the next challenge!
