This Giulia Quadrifoglio project we undertook was another beauty! It came in as a normal red road car. By the time it left it was fitted with a full carbon fibre GTA body kit, resprayed in our own version of competizione Red where we swapped one of the 3 layer gold specs with silver which makes it really stand out! Upgraded suspension, a full turbo back exhaust system upgrade (it’s loud 😍) bigger throttle bodies, upgraded diverter valves and boost controllers as well a custom remap making 650bhp! It had many other goodies too but they will be revealed in upcoming magazine features. Behind our race car build this must be one of the best road cars out there 🙂.

Sometimes a nice picture just presents itself. however

This stunning GTA was in with a running fault after a cambelt change at another garage. When they complained they were told it’s an old car now and to be expected. A good check over found that the timing was a tooth out and the pullys paint marked. Unfortunately this is the third V6 we’ve had in from the same garage for the same fault in as many months. If you use the correct tools it’s almost impossible to get the timing wrong. If you paint mark things and don’t strip it down correctly it’s inevitable it won’t be right. We have the correct tools and use them every time. Customer went for a test drive before paying after losing trust in the previous garage but was delighted when the misfire was gone and the car running as good as ever :-)

This 2023 Stelvio came to us after a dealer couldn’t offer a fix to the problem due to all parts being on back order. The headlight, day time lights and indicator wasn’t working on the passenger side. As you can see it was full of condensation. On removal of the headlight it was found to have a crack in the lens behind the bumper so was filling with water. The ECU for the headlight is on the bottom so all water going in to the light fills the ECU! Alfa had no headlights or ECUs as both are on back order. A second hand light couldn’t be found. We dried the light thoroughly, carried out an acrylic repair to the crack to make it water tight, sourced a second hand ecu from Lithuania, programmed it and re fitted everything. Alfa wanted nearly ÂŁ2000 for the repair!! Customer paid a little over ÂŁ400 and you would never know it had the problem in the first place đŸ‘ŒđŸ»

This Stelvio Quadrifoglio has an owner you could say is very lucky or unlucky in fact. His car was stolen a while ago but amazingly it was back with him within a couple of days with out a mark on it. It then came to us for a check and full service. We then got a call a week later saying that unbelievably it had been stolen again but the apple air tag in the car meant it was found and retuned in a couple of hours. It came back to us and now has 2 new keys, a ghost alarm and two types of trackers fitted to it. Hopefully it won’t be happening again! The spider was in for a new clutch as well as a carb balance and tune. The Giulietta came in with running faults after it was mapped else where. A repair to the ecu pins and a map by us means the car that was going to be scrapped is now living on đŸ‘ŒđŸ»

Really well looked after Giulietta in for its annual service. The red 4c sneaking in the picture, (we forgot to get a photo) was in for a remap having been done by a generic company previously. It smoked badly under acceleration as the fuel table was far too rich. No longer smokes now and feels quicker too. The Fiat Panda Cross had an airbag light on. Found an ecu fault. This was caused as the inside of the car was soaking wet. When we opened the ecu to recitify it the circuit boards where frazzled so a new one from fiat was supplied. We then checked the scuttle panel and found the drains blocked so the water was going in the car via the heater. Cleaned those out, left heaters in the car to dry it out and fitted the new ecu. 159 sportwagon in for maintenance works we think these will always be a great looking car!

A mito twin air in for its service and mot. A year after an unfortunate engine issue was repaired and still working very well. A 1750 Giulietta in for clutch and flywheel. The customer has aspirations of power upgrades so we fitted a stage 2 clutch that we’ve tested at 380bhp with no issues so it’s future proofed now. Also had an issue at high speed which was traced to a fault with the fuel rail pressure sensor. Mito QVline in for annual service and mot.

Maserati Levante in for its annual service and a power steering fault. Giulietta sales car having a full cambelt service and MOT before its new owner collects. This much loved spider in for its annual service and mot as well as a couple of electrical gremlins ironed out. As usual, 3 very different cars through the workshop 😍
