Giulia 2.0 from Scotland for us to trace a Diagnostic fault, plus some other routine work.

Took a while but after testing and stripping the car we found the broken wire 🙂

Also the car had a blocked air con drain, wet carpets 😞
Heater blower N/W
Leaking turbo O rings
Cracked coolant tank
Rear brakes
H B cables
Prop shaft coupling.

Juddering front brakes, warped discs, pad pick up or dirty disc to hub faces ?
Cheap Micky Mouse pads fitted that fade when pushed with old pins and cross bolts fitted by the dealer 2 months ago, not Genuine why ??? 😡

List of items advised in this case.

Software out of date.
Leaking Radiator.
Scuttle mod required.
Rear discs and pads Required.
Coolant tank cracked. 😞

Back on the Giulia from last week.

Final diagnostic fault on the list
Charge cooler pump has no coms.
After looking at wiring diagrams then checking power and grounds we found the out put to the pump had no Lin Bus signal.

Most would just fit a new pump at this stage

Well theres a thing the pump was working in a default mode as it had lost its Lin bus control signal but still had power and ground.

When working correctly they are variable speed, controlled by the Master ECU.

Once we traced the fault and repaired it the fault has now cleared and pump works as it should.

The car just needs reassembling and the ADAS calibrated.

Makes you feel good when
its been to other places including auto electricians who could not fix it. 🙂

Still really busy.
Its a bit cooler this week 🙂
