We had this Giulia QF down from Lincolnshire a few weeks back. It had been off the road for good few months, the owner could not get it running.

A BMW specialist had fitted a new fuel pump and module many months ago and just could not get it to run. Spoke to us a few times.
and a few other specialists. He had tried and checked everything.

So 1st things 1st check the basics.
Checked pressure from the low pressure pump, nothing

We checked a few other things fuses, relays etc.
We then drained the fuel tank, removed the new pump to check.

A pipe had not been refitted
in the tank.

Reconnected the pipe and refitted the pump, fuel back in.

Started straight away.

You must always retrace your steps, we all make mistakes 🙂

Lovely Abarth for its 3rd service.
Full dealer history until now.

Wheels seized to the hubs, no l**e.
Brake fluid was black with a high water content.
The pollen filter was also black with the date of 2023 stamped on it. 😡😡😡

Yes we do work on the a few non V6 Giulia and Stelvio 🙂

This one is in for service and a engine rattle.

Diagnosed to be the timing chain at fault.

We are replacing both chains, all sprockets and both tensioner’s
plus the radiator, prop coupling, little brake pipes between the calipers and flexi hoses then bleed ni***es.

Arrived with a few warnings on the dash, TPMs display and adaptive cruise control not working etc.

Very nice car and repaired correctly for a change.

We have sorted a few electrical gremlins, configured modules and removed the 3rd programmed key by the thief from the RFH, replaced the broken radar mount and calibrated the radar.

Front brake pads were rattling due to incorrect pin kit fitted.
New kit fitted.

Look at bleed ni**le repair thats been done at some point its a bit industrial.
The threaded hole must be like 14mm now
It’s safe and works, just looks crap and can’t be repaired now.

It really is fine we are just very fussy.

Road tested all ok 🙂
