With just two weeks to go before the start of the Old Skool unlimited cc Bangers Lorry Breakers Series which will begin on Good Friday 15 April at Smeatharpe Stadium. There are six meetings planned for the big cars during the course of the 2022 season, with three fixtures at Smeatharpe, two at St Day and a grand final to aim for during Banger Bonanza. A dozen drivers are already booked for the first round, including Cornish racer 59 Mike Hamley, with the promise of more and more to be added over the next few days.

The Bank Holiday weekend reaches an exciting conclusion on Easter Monday at Smeatharpe Stadium where the Back 2 Basic Bangers are due to hit the track in good numbers and their afternoon will end with a Destruction Derby. The hard-hitting Saloon Stock Cars are also set to make their third appearance on the weekend, and similarly the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars will also conclude their weekend at Smeatharpe after a busy few days of racing. Finally, the youngsters in the Ministox round off the fabulous afternoon as they compete for their annual Mini Mayhem trophy.

We look forward to seeing you on this fantastic afternoon of racing!

Not only is it the first time in two years we have been able to run racing at Easter, it’s also the first ever Good Friday event at Smeatharpe Stadium! Kicking off the Easter weekend in style, we have a fantastic line-up for race fans and families. Firstly, the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars make their fourth appearance with Autospeed this year with high paced action and a impressive field of cars guaranteed. Adding to the format, are the hard hitting Saloon Stock Cars who rarely disappoint. The opening round of the Unlimited Old Skool lorry breaker series will also take place with plenty of early interest - you are bound to see some close racing, and some spins and crashes along the way! Topping off the evening, are the infants in the BriSCA Micro F2 Stock Cars! 5pm start time on Good Friday.
