Calling all Teachers…

What if your next classroom had four wheels?

Flexible hours. Full training. Ongoing support.

Every great instructor has an origin story. What’s yours?

Some of the best instructors never planned to be one. They just had the right experience all along.

25 years on the road. Patience, calm under pressure, reading people — he already had it all. He just hadn’t found the right seat for it yet.

Now every lesson he teaches passes it on.

Part 2 is more than just 'a longer driving test'.

The full training process is connected.

Without knowledge- what are we teaching?

Without the skill- what are we looking for when teaching?

Next week we will be hosting a discussion - Driving for part 3.

All PDIs are welcome, from Pre Part 1 to those preparing for a Part 3. ADIs are also welcome.

These sessions are not designed to tell you what you need to know but help you explore what you know & what you need.

That back seat seems to be used almost as much as the driver seat is with a learner in at the moment!

If you are a PDI or ADI and would like to observe some driving lessons, or even be involved in the lesson - Reach out!

I don't have much availability between now and the end of August.

If you want to be organised and get it in as training towards you part 3 - bookings also being taken for September onwards.

Most PDIs know they should ask more questions.

The harder problem is knowing which question. And when a question is actually the wrong call.

We're trialling a tool to help with exactly that.

You describe what's happening in the lesson. It gives you coaching questions you can use in the moment — and tells you when to ditch the question and just instruct.

It's AI, built on our framework. Treat it as a thinking aid, not a rulebook.

Early days — we want honest feedback on whether it's actually useful.

Comment "Question" and I'll send you the link.

Thank you for coming.

Last night we hosted the Risk Management session.

An interactive session joined by ADIs & PDIs. The discussion took some unexpected turns but the overall was:

Good risk management isn't a competency to perform, it's a mindset: share responsibility early, let learners work through manageable mistakes, and build complexity gradually. Do that consistently and Part 3 or a standards check will reflect it without you having to force it.

The write up now available in the debrief classroom.

Up next week:

Part 1 - All welcome and I'm sure we will all come away thinking differently.
