🏆 WHAT A FRIDAY NIGHT THAT WAS!!! 🏆

What an incredible evening at the Horse of the Year Show last night, as our very own team rider, ‘Raffy’ Dawson, claimed her SECOND major title of the show with a sensational victory our own STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Championship!

Having already been crowned Leading Pony Showjumper of the Year aboard MHS Glow, Raffy entered the arena with her sights firmly set on taking home a second winner's rug!

This time, it was Woody Van Duyversputten's turn in the spotlight, as Raffy guided him to a truly stylish victory, producing an immaculate first round followed by a superb jump-off performance to secure the coveted STX-UK Foxhunter title!

👏 Huge congratulations also go to Olivia Brightmore, riding Flore Des Islots, and Portia Taylor-Wilson, aboard Olivia W, who both earned themselves the runners-up STX-UK Foxhunter rugs.

The STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Championship has once again been fiercely contested throughout the season, and with so much talent on display, the HOYS final was always going to be a thrilling and highly competitive affair.

We would like to congratulate every single rider who competed throughout the year, and especially those who earned one of those much-coveted places at the Horse of the Year Show.

We can’t quite believe it’s HOYS time again already, but here we are!

This year will most certainly see a new STX-UK Foxhunter Champion crowned, as the 2024 and 2025 winner, the incredibly talented Holly Gerken, is longer competing in the class.

So, the glory is there for another fantastic rider and pony combination to take. 🏆

To everyone competing in our Final on Friday, we wish you the very best of luck.

And whatever happens when you enter that arena, remember one thing…

Getting to the HOYS Final is an incredible achievement in itself.

Built on the new Mercedes-Benz Actros S chassis, the Sportline 19t has been designed from the ground up specifically for the UK market.

With a stunning interior, large pop-out, push-up, luxury bathroom and space for 5 horses, we believe this is quite simply one of the best-equipped and best-value trucks on the market.

And it hasn't simply been designed to look good.

At 19 tonnes, we've deliberately created the Sportline to be more manageable on the smaller UK roads that lead to so many of our showgrounds and equestrian centres, while still giving you the space, comfort and specification you'd expect from a much larger truck.

All in a weeks work . . . .

While some people get really excited about selling two new 'big' trucks in a year, we prefer to deliver two in a week, and 15+ a year, (and all without making a complete song and a dance about it 🙈)

We are super pleased to announce an exclusive partnership with the fabulous team at Stirling Trailer Centre, making it even easier for our STX-UK customers across Scotland to access servicing, warranty, repair, and general support.

The experienced team at Stirling will be supporting all our STX, AKX and Ketterer customers with everything from minor warranty items through to full repairs, as well as complete chassis servicing.

With close to 15 years in the industry, together with a clean, modern and fully equipped workshop, Stirling Trailer Centre is the perfect partner as we continue to expand the level of aftersales support available to our STX-UK customers, (with more to come in the coming weeks).

PROFESSIONAL HORSE TRANSPORTERS — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU.

We’ve been asked a lot recently whether we can put together a finance package specifically designed for professional horse transporters.

So, we have.

Built around our very popular AKX Plus, our new Transport Special is designed for people who actually put serious mileage on their trucks.

There are plenty of attractive-looking finance figures being advertised, based on a standard AKX that costs more than our better-equipped STX-UK AKX Plus. But look a little closer at some of those monthly payments and you'll find they’re calculated using annual mileage allowances that simply aren’t realistic for a professional transport business.

If you’re doing 40,000–60,000 miles a year, a finance agreement based on 8,000 miles simply doesn’t reflect how you’re going to use the truck.

And that matters.

Get the mileage wrong at the beginning and you could face substantial excess-mileage charges at the end, wiping out everything you thought you’d saved, and more.

Great effort from Forageplus for giving us something that genuinely made us laugh!

We liked it so much (mainly because we can relate to it ourselves, with at least four or five of our own horses 😂 ) that we thought we’d run a little competition.
