Busy week carrying out DPF cleaning using the Forte Power Clean machine. Great results. The machine also does injector cleaning, carbon cleaning, as well as turbo cleaning, freeing up those sticky variable vanes on turbos.

A quick catch up from the capital of Cornwall, Porkellis. Sun/Rain/Sun/Rain, will summer ever arrive. Another busy week here at Ian Paull Car Repairs/CM Motors. Busy week on mots, tyres, wheel alignment, Matt busy with servicing, Mot repairs and gearbox jobs. Also done a lot of diagnostic work, can be very stressful. We are sharing the same phone number, Working together is going well, giving me a bit more free time. Nothing much has changed, were all still here to keep you on the road. Nice little electrical job this afternoon. Peugeot 207, Loss of power steering, abs etc. Water ingress into fuse box. Replacement fuse box and splice in a wiring harness. Diagnostic test at End of job to confirm all faults rectified. Quick wipe down of engine bay. Nice to take pride in a job well done. Enjoyed having the time now to do jobs like this. Job satisfaction for 1st time in ages.

A busy week here at the garage. Lots of Mots, tyres and wheel alignments.
Everything is going well.
Next door everything is going smoothly, Matt is very busy doing all the mechanical repair work.
Nothing much has really changed. I am still here for advice or if you have any issues, but Matt, Mo and Woody are doing me proud with running their side of the business now.
I have just stepped back from the repair side, Allowing Matt to achieve his dream of running his own business and being able to afford to buy his own home one day. I hope I can help make this happen, by working close with him, and giving him the support when required.

Good afternoon to all of my very loyal customers over a number of years.

It is with sad news that I am no longer going to be carrying out mechanical repairs to vehicles.
I will still be MOT testing, selling and fitting tyres and carrying out wheel alignment. I am also going to be offering vehicle remapping in due course I am currently looking into this.

I hear you ask what does this mean for us and our vehicles ?! Well fear not one of my long standing mechanics Matthew Carlyon will be taking control over the other building across from the MOT bay, which means that all your vehicle repairs will be done there, pretty much the same as it has always been but my name will not be above the door. The new business name will be CM Motors (Matthew will be trading under his name) signs will be up within the next couple of days business cards have arrived it’s been very busy behind the scenes here trying to sort out things.

Mo who works in the office will still be here but working from the other building, Matthew Wood AKA Woody will also be working over the other side with Matthew and Mo, so nothings really changing no staff changes no contact number changes, I will still be around all of my MOT bookings will go through Mo the same as it always has done.
If you do have any questions please send a message myself or Mo will try and answer any questions or queries you may have.

So I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you, customers old and new for all your continued support over the years. As I stated previously I’ll still be around 😉 See you soon.

The garage will be open between Christmas and New Year 27th 28th and 29th Closing for New Year and reopening on the 2nd of January.
