Big Ford Ranger in over the last couple of days! 🖤
This one came in for paint correction & coatings, and being a black vehicle, it certainly had plenty for us to get stuck into!
As always, we started with the full wash, prep, decontamination and clay bar treatment to get the paintwork properly prepared for polishing.
We did suggest a 2-stage correction to the customer, as the paint had some pretty heavy scratching and swirling. However, they were happy to proceed with a 1-stage correction.
Yes, you can still see some of the deeper defects under the lights, but I’m really happy with the amount of damage we managed to remove with a single stage — especially on black paint.
With a 1-stage correction, you have to find that balance between cutting and polishing all in one step. Go too aggressive with the cutting and you can end up needing further refinement, which obviously defeats the purpose of a single-stage correction.
Once all the polishing was complete, the paint was sealed with CarPro CQUARTZ Lite 2.0, offering up to 2 years of durability, and then topped with CarPro Release once the coating had gone through its curing stage.
The end result is a monstrous improvement over what it was, and that’s exactly what we wanted. 💪
Looking absolutely lovely and glossy! ✨🖤
