What a lovely and VERY thoughtful gift from Erika! I am always hugely appreciative of anyone going out of their way to spending their money on a gift for me to say thank you. It's never expected but greatly appreciated 🫶 not only did Erika get me some amazing little gifts and a gift voucher but a heart warming, amazing letter which I will cherish ❤️ Thank you Erika, I will absolutely miss our lessons, you really did brighten up my days 🫶

Give a huge wave 👋 to Maya! Maya is keen to learn how to drive to enable the opportunities at work to increase. We had a good chat as she has had some previous lesson to ascertain her understanding and as she hasn't had a lesson in a month a two she was getting used to my car as it was quote different to one she practiced in previously.

Maya needs some reassurance as she's a little nervous but nothing we can't work together on, we also had some giggles too which is always a good sign 😄

In Abi's lesson this week we started on the 1st of 4 manuovers, the pull up on the right and reverse two car lengths.

Abi understood what was required, she was able to judge her two car lengths and control the car effectively, she worked hard on her observations and by the end of her lesson they were very good!

We tried the manuover reversing up hill and this is where Abi found this challenging, having effective clutch control along with effective observations but over all she did fab 👌🏻

Emma hasn't had a lesson a few weeks so she wanted to get back into the swing of things with a drive, so this what we did, I took her on roads she's driven on previously and some new ones and she did brilliant!

On our drive we unfortunately encountered a very impatient and dangerous driver, he was driving behind us VERY closely, he was clearly annoyed at driving behind us or in a mega rush either way it was dangerous, I ask Emma to pull up to allow him to pass as this was the safest thing to do (along with a few choice words from me 🤦‍♀️🫢) but it was also a good learning opportunity

Violet wanted to work on meeting situations this week, she felt that this was an area she needed a little more work on, so I took her to a particular road that was challenging and I let her make her own decisions and she did fabulous! No help from me required 💪 we talked about what she did differently, and it was down to speed, speeding results in running out of time, time to look and decide what to do, resulting in making risky choices

We then finished the lesson with a parallel park, a few tweaks here and there but generally a good manuover

Say a huge Hi 👋 to Poppy, this week was her 1st lesson with me, she was a little nervous, new area, new instructor and new car, so she was feeling the pressure but she did brilliant! We had a good conversation and a little drive to see what she knew.

Ben has been on fire 🔥 this week!! We started RAB's and her did absolutely amazing 👏 I gave him full instruction and he had no problem taking on board what I was saying, we practiced the approach and entry making sure that Ben was looking in all the right places

Ben then drove home for the first time and he was buzzing! We drove up a very steep road and his need to want to take his foot off the gas was over powering 🤣 I nagged him enough that he kept it on otherwise we'd have been pushing the car up the road 🤣🤣

We continued to work on meeting situations this week, so I took Jessica on a very challenging route and she did amazing 😀 we also drove alllllllllll over Huddersfield and Jessica made amazing progress with getting that foot on the gas pedal!! 🤣 out of nowhere she got her foot down, probably sick of me nagging her 🤣🤣

Jessica also likes Q&A helping her to make effective decisions about all aspects of her drive 🚗

Miles had an amazing lesson this week! We had been working on his clutch control throughout his previous lessons, encouraging him not to rush, and this week his footwork was perfect 💪 it was absolutely brilliant to see Miles move off confidently

His drive was brilliant, he like when we do Q&A as it helps him make his decisions

What an amazing 1st time pass for Erika in Huddersfield this morning with just 5 driver faults 💪 Erika has worked incredibly hard, she has been focused, dedicated and has well prepared for her test and for driving out in the world!!

Erika has been an absolute pleasure to teach and to get to know, we have had the most fun during lessons and I am mostly certainly going to miss her!

Happy safe driving Erika 🚗 🫶

Phoebe has done amazing this afternoon, she just wants to get driving 🚗 so itching to get her license and get traveling

Today Phoebe carried out the parallel park up hill, she found it a little trickier than on the flat and down hill as it requires good clutch control, overall she did brilliant with just a few prompts from me, which isn't bad to say she only started this manuover in her last lesson 💪 we then did a pull up on the right and reverse two car lengths which she did independently

Amazing lesson Phoebe, well done 😉🫶😊
