Toyota connector part numbers 👨‍🏫

Did you know that moulded into the back of most Toyota connectors there is often a 5 digit part number which makes up the second half of the Toyota part number.

The first half of that part number begins with 90980- (Note: some newer vehicle connectors have a different prefix)

In this case this Toyota Knock sensor connector is 90980-11166

You can also find these Toyota part numbers on connectors used in other brands of vehicles which still match up to a Toyota part number.

Solve your 4E-FTE idle control issues and reduce heat in your intake. The original wax stat in 4E-FTE throttle bodies are showing their age now and the throttle body is heated unnecessarily with coolant to operate.

This 2 wire idle control valve works with most aftermarket standalone ECUs and involves no coolant whatsoever!

We also sell a plugin harness for the original 2 port ICV wiring which means this will work for lots of patch harness users. The original ICV must be wired to a ECU output.

We have just found out another company, who loves to complain if people copy their parts, is basically copying our DBW parts 🤣

Now we definitely didn't invent the first drive by wire throttle body adapter, however I'm pretty sure we were the first to do it for the stock 4E-FTE intake manifold. And as far as I know we are the only company to produce a bolt on solution for the pedal 💅

We developed this part in 2021 with the help of JD Tuning in Glasgow. This was our first ever 4E-FTE but we never even tested it as we shortly after developed the Drive by Wire parts. More details soon!
