Paul's Landy Page A page for fans of Land Rovers On the 17th April 2012 I received an invoice from Withams in Lincolnshire. This was for my 1987 ex MOD Land Rover 90 GS TUL.

This means it's a short wheelbase, General Service, Truck Utility Light (canvas roof) with a gutless non-turbo 2.5 diesel engine. This is my first Land Rover and I love it. So far I have enjoyed green-laning, Tyro trialling and camping weekends, and I would advise any Land Rover owner to join a club and get out there and have fun!

Another successful jaunt to Coventry and back. She eats miles. Ok, she's a very slow eater but she's getting on a bit now.

First camping weekend of the year this weekend. Land Rover Adventure at Ripley Castle. Then the ALRC the following weekend. Hope the weather gets better!

I wish the exhaust bracket would arrive soon. Feels like I'm gassing myself everywhere I drive. I'd rather gas everyone else!

Removed the old tail pipe yesterday. Had to use the angle grinder to cut off one of the brackets. New bracket ordered ...

Removed the old tail pipe yesterday. Had to use the angle grinder to cut off one of the brackets. New bracket ordered from ebay for £2.07. Curious about how much Kwikfit would've charged to fit a new one.
