🚗 MOT IS THE BARE MINIMUM. SERVICING IS ESSENTIAL. 🚗

Recently, we had a newly passed driver come to us with a clutch fault shortly after her vehicle had passed an MOT elsewhere.

The issue?
There was no clutch fluid in the reservoir.

Her response was:
“But it’s just been MOT’d, I assumed they’d have checked that.”

And this is something many people don’t realise…

An MOT is NOT a full health check for your vehicle.

An MOT is simply the minimum legal standard required for a vehicle to be on the road at that moment in time.

There are many components and fluid levels that are NOT part of the MOT inspection — including clutch fluid levels.

That’s why regular servicing is so important.

A garage is only as good as the people behind it — so we thought it was time to properly introduce the team that keeps Bear and Bee Garage running every day.

🔧 Stuart
With over 20 years of experience, all of which has been spent at this garage, Stuart is part of the foundations of the workshop. A friendly face around the garage and somebody customers and staff know they can always rely on.

🛞 Shaun
Shaun brings over 30 years of experience to the team and has been with the company for more than 15 years. There genuinely isn’t a job we wouldn’t trust him with. His knowledge and experience are second to none.

📋 Chad
Chad is our young MOT tester who continues to defy the expectations of his age. There’s nothing this young man can’t turn his hand to. Coming up for 4 years with the company, his development has been incredible to watch.

☎️ Gail
Gail has been with the company for over 15 years and is the friendly face we all know and love. From bookings and enquiries to helping keep everything organised behind the scenes, she plays a huge role in keeping the garage moving.
