We’re really grateful for feedback like this from our customers.

Four years of looking after a boat, providing honest advice, reliable service and work to a high standard - that’s exactly what we aim for at Yacht Care Plus.

And sometimes the best advice isn’t to do the work ourselves. If we genuinely think there’s a better, quicker or more cost-effective option elsewhere, we’ll tell you.

Good workmanship. Honest advice. No unnecessary work.

That’s how we like to do business.

A question we get asked quite a lot is: "Will Carl be doing the work?"

And we completely understand why.

Carl has over 45 years of experience and has built Yacht Care Plus around the knowledge and standards he's developed over that time.

But as the business has grown, so has the team.

Everyone working with us has been trained by Carl or by someone who has been trained by Carl. The knowledge gets passed down, the standards stay the same, and Carl continues to oversee the work.

So while Carl might not always be the person holding the tools, his experience is still very much part of every job we do.
That's what makes Yacht Care Plus a team.

This one was a fairly substantial repair, but a great example of what can be achieved with the right approach.

The damaged area was carefully prepared before the repair was carried out, rebuilding the affected section and restoring the hull to a strong, clean finish.

From damaged to ready for the water.

Every repair is different, so we assess the condition of the yacht first and work out the best way to tackle it.

Got damage you’re not sure about? Send us a few photos and we’ll take a look.

Anodes might not be the most exciting part of yacht maintenance, but they play an important role in protecting your underwater metalwork from corrosion.

We can inspect your existing anodes and replace them when needed, helping keep your yacht properly protected and ready for the season ahead.

If your yacht is coming out of the water, it’s a good opportunity to check the anodes alongside your other underwater maintenance.

Not sure if yours need changing? Send us a photo or get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.

It’s always great to hear feedback from customers who have trusted us with their yachts for years.

For us, good yacht care is about more than just doing the job. It’s about being reliable, keeping customers informed and making sure they know their boat is in good hands.

A big thank you to Geoff for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. We really appreciate it.

And while Carl has decades of experience behind Yacht Care Plus, that knowledge is now shared across the team - with the same focus on doing things properly and keeping customers looked after.

One team. One standard. ⚓️

The people behind Yacht Care Plus. ⚓️

There’s a lot of experience behind the Yacht Care Plus name, but it’s not just about one person.

Carl has spent over 45 years working with GRP, yacht repairs and maintenance, and that knowledge has been passed down through the team.

Our people are trained by Carl, or by experienced members of the team who have been trained to his standards - with Carl continuing to oversee the work.

So while you might not always see Carl holding the tools, his experience is still very much part of the job.
One team. One standard.

Not every repair is going to look pretty halfway through the job!

This yacht had significant deterioration to the underlying structure, so the damaged material needed to be carefully removed before rebuilding and restoring the area.

The process involved stripping out the damaged sections, preparing the area for repair and rebuilding it to restore the strength and integrity of the structure.

Every repair is different, so we always assess the condition of the yacht before deciding on the right approach.

Got a repair that needs looking at? Send us a few photos and we'll be happy to discuss it.
