25 year old Mitsubishi EX8 Spark Erosion Machine at MOULDTECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED repaired today. The customer loves the speed and accuracy of this machine so we endeavour to keep it running and updated for him.

MOULDTECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED also supplied us with some of their own designed and manufactured face shields to use in the future.

MICROTEC EDM LIMITED, based in Southend, had an EASYRO 300 system installed at their facility this week. This unit can produce 4800 litres a day of RO Water which is ideal for topping up their Hi-Spec Charmilles Wire EDM Machines as the water has 95-99% of all residues removed and has very low conductivity.
An EASYBOTT Unit was purchased which is a pressurised refill cart used to deliver RO Water from the EASYRO Unit to the machines.

AN E.KO IONISER 1501 was also installed on their Agie Charmilles CUT E 600 to replace the original deionisation canister.

MICROTEC EDM LIMITED will now benefit from the following advantages:-

• Reduced downtime.
• Optimum water quality.
• No calcification of the valves.
• Reduction of wire breakage.
• No waste disposal costs.

Last week Multispark Erosion Ltd. had a further six E.KO IONISER 1501 Units installed on their Mitsubishi and Accutex Wire EDM Machines.

This unit directly replaces the original ion exchange resin system and has many benefits including :-

* No used resin disposal costs.
* Reduced down time for resin replacement.
* No resin particle intrusion.
* Neutral pH throughout the units life.
* Reduced corrosion.
• Environmentally friendly.
