It was a bit of a grim looking start to the day with some heavy cloud bursts all over the Central Belt and Janice and the all-ladies crew who had prepared for today's "Ladies Choice" ride-out were a little worried that there might not be much of a turnout for the ride. But they needn't have worried because as has been the case pretty much all of this season, Clyde Valley HOG members turned out in good numbers for the ride down to Biggar and the Tinto Hotel. And despite the early rain, Scott brought the sunshine ( says Karen) and we had an almost totally dry ride around South Lanarkshire, arriving at Tinto for Soup and Sarnies. A brilliant way to spend a Sunday.

Get ready for another fantastic day on the road! This Sunday, Janice will be leading an all-female road crew on a scenic ride through the beautiful Scottish Borders, our destinations is the Tinto Hotel where lunch will be available to order.

On Saturday at HOG Days we had a visit from Alcina and Manuel all the way from Porto Chapter . Unfortunately I got a bit tied up by things, and they headed off on their touring before I was able to catch up with them and hand over a wee souvenir of their visit to Clyde Valley. So today I caught up with them at South Queensferry and made good on that. Have a safe trip back to Portugal! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇵🇹❤️

Today West Coast Harley-Davidson hosted a wonderful HOG Days event and we had members from all over; Dunedin Chapter Scotland HOG #9083, Red Rose Chapter - Harley Owners Group (HOG), Geordie Chapter HOG, Sherwood Chapter - Official, Great Western Chapter, Porto Chapter and probably more I simply missed! And thanks to the Clyde Valley team working away on the BBQ we managed to raise about £650 for Charity.
