🚗 Introducing Sammy’s Dashcam Academy
I’m excited to announce the launch of Sammy’s Dashcam Academy – a professional, hands-on training programme designed to teach the correct and safe methods of dashcam installation.
After years of installing dashcams on a wide variety of vehicles across Scotland, I’ve created this academy to share the knowledge, techniques and standards I’ve developed through real-world experience.
Whether you’re a car enthusiast wanting to understand how to install a dashcam correctly, a mechanic or technician looking to broaden your skills, or simply someone with an interest in automotive electrics, this course is designed to give you the confidence and practical experience to carry out professional-quality installations.
During this intensive 2-day course, you’ll learn:

✅ Safe fuse testing and hardwiring techniques
✅ Professional trim removal methods
✅ Safe cable routing and concealment
✅ Front and rear dashcam installation
✅ Troubleshooting common installation issues
✅ Best practices for achieving a clean, professional finish
This isn’t an online course or a classroom full of theory. You’ll gain practical, hands-on experience working on real vehicles using the same techniques and standards I use every day as a professional installer.

Selected graduates may be invited to join the Trainee Installer Programme, where they’ll receive additional practical training and supervised experience.
Upon successfully completing the trainee programme and meeting our quality standards, you may be offered the opportunity to become a Certified Sammy’s Dashcam Installer for your region as part of our growing installer network.
Progression beyond the academy is by invitation only and is not guaranteed.
