🔧 Vauxhall Mokka 2021 – Wet Belt Reality Check 🔧

Looks fine from the outside…
Not so fine inside. 👀
Today at PK Auto Garage Ltd we stripped down a wet timing belt.
What we found?
➡️ belt wear
➡️ contamination in the oil
➡️ blocked oil pickup (strainer)
All sorted with:
✔️ sump removal & oil pickup cleaning
✔️ seals & bolts replaced
✔️ full inspection done properly – not rushed
✔️fresh oil together with filter
⚠️ Wet belts don’t forgive missed oil services.
Old oil = belt breakdown
Belt debris = oil starvation
Oil starvation = engine gone 💥
🛢️ Keep it simple:
✔️ service your oil early
✔️ don’t wait for warning lights
✔️ check the belt before it checks you
