A returning customer popped in yesterday to ask if we could increase the power on his Transit Courier after he was complaining about it struggling to get up hills with his kit in the back.

With 95hp from factory it’s never going to set the world alight so we had a look at what we could do.

We finished with 130hp and 270nm torque which doesn’t sound like much but when you’re starting with such a low number any increase like this is a huge improvement.

After a quick test drive the customer was over the moon and said it completely changed the way the wee van drove.

Another satisfied customer.

A quick Friday post as it’s been a while.

This morning we are working on this 2019 BMW 320D. It came into us with a reoccurring adblue fault and the customer asking if we could remove the system. After a quick Look into the issue it was going to be cheaper for us to carry out an adblue delete rather than repairing with pricey parts.

As this is a 2019 onwards model the ECU is locked from factory. This isn’t an issue for us as we have the tools here onsite to unlock the module in no time.

A couple of hours later and they are back on the road without having to worry about the issue popping back up.

It’s 2024!!! 🎉

I’ve been slacking on the Facebook posts this month as we have been so busy the last few weeks.

One of today’s jobs was this Mini Cooper D in for the common swirl flap delete. The customer had already removed the swirl flaps and just needed us to map it out.

It’s not only before maps we can help with. Simple EGR, DPF, Adblue and much more as well.

This generation of Audi RS6 has fantastic gains over the stock power. With over 600hp from factory in this trim level the car is already very quick. However nothing that can’t be improved on right?

Stock - 605hp 750nm

Stage 1 - 675hp 900nm

Not much will touch this on the road now. Customer over the moon with the way the car drives. Another happy customer.

We have been a little quiet on here lately. We have still be very busy in the workshop and working away to improve our dyno facilities further.

We recently had a friend of ours 135i track car in for diagnostics on a running fault and then some mapping. After fixing a few niggling faults the car was back to 100% health and we could concentrate on adding power safely.

As the car is used solely on track the customer asked for a safe power level that wasn’t pushing the standard turbo to much. After a few runs we settled on a slightly turned down stage 2 setup.

Turned down stage 2 - 354hp 519nm

Customer over the moon with the results and can’t wait to get it back out on track.

Another Mini today. This time it was a lovely Cooper S Challenge. Just in for a simple Stage 1 to compliment the JCW Pro exhaust and Airtec Intercooler.

This car had the ECU locked from its recent software update. Luckily we have the ability to unlock these no problem at all.

We had this serious looking track ready 1 Series in for fuel pump upgrade and mapping at the end of last week.

The car already had a stage 2 map from elsewhere loaded however the customer was looking for a bit more. We fitted a TU fuel pump and loaded Bootmod3 Stage 2+ map at the customers request.
