If your instructor is overloading you with information tell them stop. They should be able to break it down into smaller chunks of information if they can’t get a new driving instructor.

3 Tips for driving in snow

1. Plan ahead if you see a obstruction or cars braking start slowing down earlier remember in the snow/icy conditions your stopping distance can be increased up to 10x

2. Following distance when following cars normally you would leave a 2 second gap in the wet you double this and in icy conditions you would increase this again this gives you more time to react

3. Be gentle when driving in harsher conditions accelerate gently and use the higher gears to prevent wheel spin. When slowing down brake gently and use engine braking by downshifting to help control car speed

Do you struggle with judging when to go at roundabout?

In this video Harry demonstrates how to turn right 3rd exit at the Hillington roundabout which may be included in the shieldhall driving test route.

If you miss clear chances to go at roundabouts or any other junctions on your driving test you will be marked down for undue hesitation
