The Hawk Stratos Stradale in its original Verde Pistacchio might just be the very best and as close to an original as possible to come from Hawk. Just painted by Kingswell Coachworks it is almost completed with a Dino V6, metal tub and as many original parts as possible plus reproduced parts where needed.

The words of Gerry Hawkridge
I wanted to build one to this specification, exact as an original, like FYH 4V in honour and memory of my great friend, Roger Perry, who owned the original car. It is in the Super Profile book. He took most of the photos in that book. He also ran a business called Classico.Hence my name for the new LHD Hawk replicas. He encouraged me to make a replica Stratos in the early 1980's. He loaned me his cas FYH 4V to take moulds and jigs from. We then, when we had done that, he asked me to paint it 'Transit' blue, and fitted it with Campagnola coffin spoke wheels that were painted red !!! Adding to the story, my son's godfather was Grenville Griffiths, who had one of the original GP 4 rally cars, and was involved with Chequered Flag. He also encouraged me, and I helped by converting his car from square arch GP4 to round arch GP4 for him, and making the body moulds at the same time, which then enabled me to be able to produce all 3 versions. They were both lovely great friends, enthusiasts for the cars, as well as encouraging so much to do what I have done. They also introduced me to Don Fenwick and Ron Pellat . Two more amazing people.

The Green metal tubbed Hawk Stratos being built as per an original has had it front and rear clams made and fitted. This is going to be fantastic.
