🚘 Mustangs at Christchurch Cars on the Quay! ☀️

We had a brilliant day taking Twiggy, our 1965 Mustang, to Christchurch Cars on the Quay alongside our friend Graham and his 1967 Mustang, Elwood.

The sun was shining, the cars looked fantastic, and there were plenty of awesome Fords to admire!

REECEY UPDATE......

So Thursday this week we get the fiesta mot'd and aligned, read what the mot tester wrote 🙂
Friday morning Reece passes his driving test ❤️❤️🎉🎉, 6 hours later to sort his insurance out.. i kid you not 🙈 and he's on the road that evening and takes me for a nice drive across the chain ferry, feels weird.. but awesome at the same time.
I managed to pass by the time I was 17 and a half and it was a running joke if he could beat me. Fair play to him.... He got ripped off by a fake intensive course company. Kept himself together. Built a max power hall car! yes with my help granted but he put in the hours, I was a mere guide. And still managed it in 2 months, I tip my hat to you my boy 🫡

So, our trip to the Max Power Reunion Show didn’t quite go to plan — but it still turned into an epic adventure and a proper reminder of what can be achieved when everyone keeps a calm head and works as a team.

Apologies that the video is a little late going out. To top it all off, I had the pleasure of spending a few days last week in hospital with a kidney stone!

Big news…

TW Performance is heading to YouTube! 🎥 For those who don’t know, I’ve spent the last 8 years building my Es**rt ST220 3.0 V6 — a project that’s been on pause for a while, but now I’m in a much better place mentally and ready to get properly stuck back in. I’ve decided it’s time to start documenting the build, the progress, the highs, the headaches, and everything in between.

It won’t just be the Es**rt though We’ll be sharing plenty from our family projects too — two E46s, a Discovery 2 off-roader, a ’72 Stingray, a ’65 Mustang, a ’90s Ninja, our ever-changing Speed Shop Caddy, and some incredible customer cars along the way.

First up, keep an eye out for Reece’s Mk3 Fiesta, which is getting its final touches ready for the main hall at the Max Power Reunion this Sunday. He’s only 17, but he’s poured everything into it, and we’re seriously proud of him.

Got started on ecto1. I absolutely love this thing. Definitely a bucket list car for me to work on and be apart of 🙂

It's had a Chevy big block conversion at some point in its life and has a few teething issues to sort. Mainly cooling but I'll get it all dialed in 🙂
