π¨ WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Here's one for the experienced drivers...
You're on a multi-drop run.
You've had a long day, but you're still within your legal driving and working limits.
You've got one delivery left.
The customer is expecting you within the next 30 minutes.
Your transport office calls.
They tell you:
"If you can get this last delivery done, you can head straight back. If not, we'll have to send another vehicle tomorrow."
You check your records.
You could legally complete the delivery and get back within your remaining hours.
But you're tired.
Not dangerously tired.
Not falling asleep.
Just... tired enough that you're questioning whether you should continue.
So here's the question:
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
A. Complete the delivery.
You're within your legal limits and still feel capable of driving safely.
B. Stop and report that you're too tired to continue.
Your judgement is telling you that continuing isn't the right choice.
C. Contact the office and explain the situation.
Let them know you're tired and discuss the safest option before deciding.
D. Take a break first.
Then reassess how you feel before making the decision.
π€ What's your answer?
And here's the difficult part...
Is there actually one "correct" answer?
Tell us what you would doβand, more importantly, why. π
Because professional driving isn't always about clear-cut decisions.
Sometimes you're balancing:
π Safety
β±οΈ Time pressure
π Legal requirements
π΄ Fatigue
π Pressure from the office
π€ Customer expectations
And that's where professional judgement really matters.
