Afternoon.
This last series of repairs on the were aiming at getting it running again, so new fuel pipes have been made and clipped up safely. The fuel pump wasnt working, so i fixed it and cleaned the connections and while it was off cleaned some loose underseal off and painted fresh on. Then i sandblasted the mount and used a more appropriately sized stainless steel hose clip to secure it.
The tank was drained of its nasty stale fuel and 3 gallons of e5 bobbed in.
After the pump was reinstalled i re routed the fuel supply and return pipes replacing the rotten hose as i proceeded!
The front end has been reassembled, and some pre start checks completed it took some faffing but it now runs lovely and starts on the button!
A few timing tweaks may still be necessary, but its a lot closer than it was!
