Was working in Lochgilphead today & heading for West Coast Motors Mull depot tomorrow so booked Royal Hotel in the square, Oban at a very reasonable Β£50, room only as I would be gone too early for breakfast.
Arrived tonight to find it was only Β£35, such a good deal that I booked tomorrow night as well to save me driving down the road to Dunoon & they agreed to give me the same rate tomorrow too πππ.
Had lovely bath, watched some telly then went out for something for dinner from the chippy.
Helen had already mentioned on the phone she was having scampi, so I said to her, oh aye, I'll have some scampi too seeing as I am in the seafood centre of the west coast π. I wasn't hungry so just ordered single scampi, no chips.....could I have tartar sauce with it? Of course, no problem sir........Β£8.45 + Β£1.00 for tarter sauce......for this......shocking π±π± Just as well the Royal Hotel did a great job.....that's the only reason I will be staying in Oban again ππ
