EMPTY SUN:The story so far...

EMPTY SUN is a vehicle for the artistic practice of James Sheer Phaily an Artist/Magickian based in the North of England. Since its inception in 2015(though the seeds of this company were planted many years ago)EMPTY SUN has endeavoured to explore their own Magickal Universe in text, moving image, the written word, drawing, paint and performance.

Projects come and go, but the “creative flow” of the company’s aesthetic, magickal current continues to grow and mature, as we go back and forth through Time and Space.

In 2016/EMPTY SUN had a successful joint exhibition with artist Mark Bailey entitled THIRD MIND@ The Leopard in Doncaster which was a joy to curate and garnered some local attention and success.

In 2017 EMPTY SUN released a successful spoken word/ambient drone album DESERT COMPASS(Lazer-Gun Phoenix): the record was rendered with the collaboration of Berlin based musician Graeme Rowland(HEAT) and producer Jase Burns.(95 Million Miles from the Sun)culminating in a wordwide download event@ Supanova Studios where the album was performed in its entirety and an appearance at the EMPTY SUN curated micro-fest (FREAK OUT ETHEL)@The Doncopolitan Magazine Headquarters.
