Bottom 6” of both A&B pillars and floor sections fabricated and welded before new front wheel arches. Also a few repairs in usual places around the body.

Today is sealing and under body rust proofing…..nasty job 😬

Today starts the restoration of one of our splittys Fozzie. Has been off the road for 2 years as needed the front wheel aches replaced and I just haven’t had time to do it.

I put it up on the ramp last week to be very pleasantly surprised by just how good and solid he is.

Plan is to replace the front arches, do any minor welding required, clean down underside and underseal before a fresh coat of exterior paint and reconditioned engine refitted.

This is a 1975 Brazilian bus which a lot of you purist may turn your nose up at but this isn’t the usual worn out knackered Brazilian, this one has been looked after and served us well by transporting many a wedding party.

Bonus with Fozzie is he has all the right things done like independent rear suspension, front disc brake conversion and empi shifter. Also on a new 2” narrowed adjustable beam. Still has the original steering box but was refurbished so steering is surprisingly light and positive so will be a joy to drive for the new owner.

I’ll post how Fozzie is progressing……
