This weekend I got the chance to fix one of our own quads, the engine in this quad was a 50cc engine and was old and tired so I managed to find a new 150cc engine, with a bit of a challenge I managed to get it in and bolted up.👍

Next challenge was the wiring was different on the the new engine so with a hour or so tracing the old wire on the old engine and coping them on the new one I got the wiring crimped up and put them in the right location on the block connector, plugged it in tested to make sure I had a spark⚡️ popped the tank on and it started up.🤞🏻

Next challenge getting a gear selector to fit 🥴 as it need to come round the engine so with a bit of cutting and welding I come up this the spanner selector and it works fine.

My boy is happy so I’m happy and he loves the power difference 💨
