Important Update from Jay Moto

We’d like to let all of our customers know about a change to the services we offer.

From today, we will no longer be taking on motorcycle mechanical work. We’d like to thank everyone who has trusted us with their bikes over the years – we really appreciate your support.

We will still be offering:
✅ Motorcycle MOTs
✅ Minor motorcycle repairs and maintenance
✅ Any motorcycle work that is already booked in will be completed as planned.

Our focus will continue to be on providing the best possible service across our automotive work while still supporting our motorcycle customers with MOTs and smaller repair jobs.

Ford ranger wet belt!

We’re working on a Ford Ranger today that needed a wet belt replacement — and it’s a reminder for all Ranger owners out there: don’t wait until it’s too late!

The timing belt on these engines runs in oil, meaning it can degrade faster than a regular belt. If it fails, it can cause serious (and expensive) engine damage.

We’re carrying out a full service on a Peugeot 108 with a wet cambelt today, and it’s a reminder just how important it is to stay on top of wet belt inspections.
