Happy new year to you all.
Starting off the new year with this Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, with the common issue of no heat coming from the heater. To fix the issue a filter needs to be cleaned and the system flushed with a cleaning agent for several hours. Once reassembled, and the system refilled with fresh anti-freeze, we had over 50°c coming from the vents within a few minutes.

Another Astra K info screen replaced.
It seems these are becoming a common issue, with flickering or blank screens. I can source and fit a new screen for a fraction of the cost from Vauxhall.

An interesting one today. I had a Mini in with multiple warning lights on the dash and no communication between the diagnostic tool and various electronic control modules. Careful testing led to me find the ABS control unit had internally shorted and damaged the connector and wiring loom. The control unit had been remanufacted at some point with clearly poor quality control.
I was able to repair the wiring and plug and fit and program a replacement control unit. With the car up and running again I had a happy customer.
