The Congleton Jazz & Blues Festival

The Congleton Jazz & Blues Festival A great Jazz and Blues music event for Congleton held over August Bank Holiday weekend. Its prime motive is to promote our lovely town.

August Bank Holiday, special Jazz gig on Friday and then Free music all day Saturday and Sunday, we'll let you have Monday off!.

23/05/2020

There will not be a Congleton Jazz and Blues festival this August bank holiday weekend (Aug 29/30), we are investigating the possibility of holding some online gigs/events. As soon as we have further information we will announce this here and on our website.

It is very strange times we are living in at the moment and difficult to predict what will happen and when for the music and festival community given the CV19 situation. Please stay safe and look after you and yours.

We plan to hold CJAB 2021 on August 28/29 put that date in your diaries now!

Thanks to Vince Cutcliffe and the team for a great festival, had the pleasure of watching The Four Kings Blues Band, The Sharpees, Junkhousedog and Dirk Digglers before playing with the Malpractice boys at the Ye Olde White Lion. Don't tell Nantwich but this was our favourite festival so far. Hope to see you all next year.
What a superb festival. Every band I saw was brilliant. This year there was plenty of jazz - my favourites were quinta jazz and swingology. Hazel street jive candy were a fantastic, hugly enjoyable 16 piece band; Not really jazz but I hope to much more of them in future
