Land Rover Defender TDCi was in with us in the last few weeks, Customer having issues with Oil ruining his newly finished driveway.
We had to carry out a full underbody steam wash to identify leak due to leak severity.
Fault concluded to be within the Lt230 transfer box, upon removal and inspection seals within the box had to be replaced, this was caused by a worn bearing allowing play in the shaft pinching the seals, we replaced the bearings, vehicle now back with its happy owner.
