While supporting my son in karting I've come up with a solution to help him. I'll be testing these in the next week or so on circuit. Although we can't run them on race days, I will hopefully be able to give him the advice needed during practice sessions

Corner weight and 4 wheel alignment completed. We should of been at Grizedale this weekend but unfortunately it's been postponed again. Oh well never mind hopefully the next rally won't be too far away

Nice little machining job sorted. Spot the problem, the aluminium one wasnt quite up to the job, Once you couple this to a rally car and a heavy gear change the weak point became apparent

The 205 is ready for Malton rally tomorrow. Gonna be an early start and busy day, swapping sprint circuits for forests tracks means a slightly wetter day

Had a busy day at blyton with Simon in the chrono V8, early issues with gearshift meant returning into manual shift, after a steady run and some gearbox diagnosis we also found a damaged cv joint cage. Once repaired he managed a good run in the 1st timed. After a tweek on the gear change de-tent we had the shift sorted and a good 2 final runs. Collecting some good points in the BSC and a point for breaking the record too
