My latest drawing.
Ferrari F2001 9/11 Tribute at Monza with Michael Schumacher at the wheel..
This sponsorless Ferrari was a tribute to the horrific events that happened in the U.S.A. on 11th September 2001. The race itself which was in doubt at Monza took place only 5 days later on the 16th.

Nigel Mansell Reunited With His Williams FW14B - Limited Edtion Giclee Print With COA

Nigel Mansell is a British racing legend, born in 1953, best known for his tenacity, aggressive driving style, and bushy moustache that earned him the nickname "Our Nige." He competed in Formula 1 from 1980 to 1995 (with a brief 1994 return), securing 31 Grand Prix wins and the 1992 F1 World Drivers' Championship with Williams. He is the only driver to win both the F1 title and the IndyCar championship in consecutive years (1992–93). Mansell started his F1 career with Lotus, had strong spells with Williams (1985–88 and 1991–92), drove for Ferrari (1989–90), and briefly returned to Williams in 1994. His career featured dramatic moments, including multiple near-misses for the title before finally claiming it at age 39.

The Williams FW14B (1992)
The Williams FW14B is widely regarded as one of the most technologically advanced and dominant cars in F1 history. Designed by Adrian Newey, it evolved from the 1991 FW14 and featured cutting-edge systems for its era:
Active suspension (hydro-pneumatic, computer-controlled) that maintained a level ride height and optimal aerodynamics regardless of fuel load or cornering forces.
Semi-automatic sequential gearbox (6-speed).
Traction control and (later in the season) anti-lock brakes.
Advanced aerodynamics, including a raised nose for better underfloor airflow and high downforce.
Powered by a reliable and potent Renault RS3/RS4 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, producing around 700–760+ hp at up to 14,500 rpm.
In the 1992 season, the FW14B (driven by Mansell and Riccardo Patrese) won 10 of 16 races, took 15 poles, and secured both the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships for Williams with a massive points margin. Mansell alone won a then-record 9 races and clinched the title early, famously wrapping it up by mid-season. The car suited Mansell's hard-charging style perfectly, combining raw speed, handling precision, and reliability. It remains a fan favorite for its screaming V10 sound and "Red 5" livery (Mansell's iconic number).

Nigel Mansell and the FW14B at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed
In 2022, Goodwood celebrated the 30th anniversary of Mansell's 1992 title. Mansell was reunited with the FW14B (often called "Red 5") for emotional hillclimb runs up the famous Goodwood course — his first time driving it since the final race of 1992. He also piloted other cars from his career, including Ferraris and a Lotus. The event generated huge "Mansell Mania," with crowds cheering the unmistakable V10 howl and the sight of the moustachioed champion back in his title-winning machine. Onboard videos and reports captured the moment as a highlight of the weekend (held in late June 2022). Williams' heritage team had carefully restored/maintained the car to running order for the occasion.

The reunion was widely covered as a nostalgic and celebratory event, with Mansell expressing delight at driving the car again.
(Note: The FW14B, including with Mansell driving, also appeared at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of F1's 75th anniversary celebrations, alongside other Williams drivers like James Vowles, Jamie Chadwick, and Lia Block.)
The pairing of Mansell and the FW14B represents a golden era of F1 technology and one of the most memorable driver-car combinations in the sport's history.

The McLaren M7A holds a special place in motorsport history as the car that delivered McLaren's very first Formula 1 Grand Prix victory—and it was driven by the team's founder himself, Bruce McLaren.
Introduced for the 1968 Formula 1 season, the M7A was McLaren's first purpose-built F1 car to properly contest the full World Championship (following some earlier one-off efforts). Designed with input from Bruce McLaren along with key figures like Gordon Coppuck (after Robin Herd departed), it featured a clean, elegant design powered by the revolutionary Ford-Cosworth DFV V8 engine—the same legendary unit that would power countless wins across multiple teams in that era.
The car's most iconic moment came at the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. In a dramatic, rain-affected race full of incidents and retirements, Bruce McLaren took the win—often described as chaotic and unexpected. He crossed the line unaware he'd actually won until someone told him afterward, making it a truly memorable milestone. This victory made Bruce only the third driver in F1 history (after Jack Brabham and Dan Gurney) to win a World Championship Grand Prix in a car bearing his own name—a feat that remains unique to this day, as no one else has matched it since.
The M7A also marked the debut of McLaren's signature papaya orange livery in Formula 1, which has become one of the most recognizable colors in racing.Bruce drove the M7A successfully in several races during 1968 and into 1969, with the car securing additional strong results and podiums (including a 1-2 finish in some non-championship events). It helped establish McLaren as a serious constructor in F1 before evolving into later models.

Tragically, Bruce McLaren passed away in 1970 while testing a Can-Am car, but the M7A's success laid crucial groundwork for the team's long-term legacy.

“Hitchhiker”
This drawing captures Mark Webber hitching a lift back to the pits on Fernando Alonso’s Ferrari F138 at the end of the 2013 Singapore GP. Webber retired on the final lap of the race after his car suffered a water leak and then a fire. On the cool-down lap, 2nd-placed Alonso stopped for Webber and helped him get back to the pits faster - earning themselves a reprimand and, for Webber, a consequent 10-place grid penalty for the next race at Korea.

On his victory lap after a race he dominated, Mansell stopped and offered his arch-rival - whose then-second-placed McLaren had run out of fuel on the final lap - a ride back to the pits.

Originally rendered in pencil and pastel by fine artist Mark J Davey, this piece is reproduced using specialist, fine art giclee printing methods.

Limited to 50 numbered examples and is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
