2nd test of the day, 3rd of the week and by no means last it was Lexi’s turn to pass her test with flying colours.
Lexi started off in manual but the best decision she made was switching to automatic. It let her focus on driving and not worrying about gears.
With EV cars becoming more popular and most new cars being automatic now it’s fast becoming the modern way to drive.

Lexi worked extremely hard to pass her test with no additional private practice. You should be really proud of yourself for passing 1st

Hopefully you get the new car sorted out over the next couple of weeks so you no longer need to get the bus!

How it started vs how it finished …. Zero minor driving fault driving test pass. The perfect drive!! Only 1% ever achieve it which is amazing.

Now where do I start about Justine. We were like 2 old sweetie wives in the car putting the world to right. A relaxed and friendly learning atmosphere definitely helped with nerves and each week Justine just kept progressing and too stop the self doubt.

A huge thank you to husband Stan who’ll have sit in more car parks doing reverse bay parking than all the instructors in Cd put together. The extra private practice really does help and I can’t recommend it enough. So Stan enjoy the new golf clubs you definitely earned it.

Finally Justine enjoying celebrating with a wine tonight and enjoy the rest of the summer holidays with the kids.

The sun is shining, Sonia is smiling and wee dad Rab had a tear in his eye this morning after a brilliant 1 minor driving fault test pass!
Game changer this for Sonia and her lovely daughter Indy as it gives them new found freedom and independence. Makes the job so rewarding being able to help people achieve their goals!
Rab will now be able to sit back and relax 🤣 if he could!

Back to work for me but not before a wee bacon roll and coffee to celebrate 😀

Bit late in getting round to posting this, I’m blaming the heat. 🥵
On Thursday Carson McCallum passed his driving test with 5 minor driving faults.
As Carson attends boarding school and time was restricted, it was more of an intensive course.
After having only 10 hours of lessons with me and extra practice when he could with his mum he managed to pull it off. It’s definitely not what I recommend but needs must.
Mum deserves a huge thank you for not only running him to test but also the private practice this week leading up to test.
Best of luck Carson on the up and coming Rugby season, I’m just glad he never tackled me 🤣

Diary is officially open for next year. To avoid disappointment it’s never too soon to get booked in. I offer both automatic and manual lessons and have the added bonus of being part of an excellent driving school,Qualify.

Def Leopard on Sunday night, Emergency lesson last night because nerves had kicked in but Finlay Jardine passed today with flying colours, 3 minor driving faults.

Well done again young man and a big thanks to mum and dad for all the private practice.

It’s a bit scary teaching your old school pals kids to drive 🤣 how did I get this old 🤣

When you hear a pupils Nana crying and saying how proud they’re of their grandchild it makes your day!!
Today was the turn of Freddy’s mum Carey who after dropping Fred off safely at School then went and sat her driving test and passed with very high praise and 3 driving minor faults.
The sleepless night last night and the nerves kicking in over the last few weeks didn’t stop Carey from smashing it today. I meant what I said this morning in my pre test text, I’m really proud of how far you’ve come and more importantly the safe driver you developed into.
Enjoy your new found freedom and Fred’s now got a new taxi driver.
I’ll miss the weekly catchups and laughs.

Huge congratulations to Kacey Little who passed her driving test with flying colours in Castle Douglas on her 1st attempt.
This scania v8 loving lassie has been great to teach and with a superb attitude to driving safely.
Both Kacey and Becky passing 1st time gives them bragging right of older brother Jack

In a few short months I believe Kacey will hopefully be starting her lorry driver training and wish her the best of luck.

Diary’s mental at the moment but spaces becoming available in the next few months. Probably best to be booking ahead to save disappoint for next year.
