New year, new role…

On top of our McLaren Trophy team expansion, we are also looking to grow the team involved with International GT Open. We are recruiting a chief mechanic, as well as experienced No.1 and No.2 Mechanics with GT3 experience.
Alongside these roles we are looking for workshop & events contract staff.

A Cool little project this week on something different. 1964 Lotus Elan in the Equipe Classic Racing 6 hour race.

Strong pace all weekend and P2 overall at the 2.5 hour mark when the car suffered a mechanical problem and despite the best efforts of the team the problem was not repairable trackside.

Such a great little team and change of scenery from the modern tech of current GT3 cars.

Thanks again to Mike and Mia Flewitt and of course Mikey O’Brien for inviting me along.

Mikey did a whopping 2hour and 16 minute stint to start the race bringing it in p2 overall 🙌🏼
