Do you have a vehicle for sale? Getting inundated with people asking your best price? Please please be careful if you arrange for them to come and view.
I never thought it would happen to me but nobody is untouchable.
Basically 5 foreign chaps (Hungarian or something like that) turn up to view the nice fancy car available for sale.
As I’m showing them around on my own I stick with the large guy who has the key, meanwhile 2 of his colleagues are under the bonnet looking and put an oil capsule or something into the coolant (unbeknown to me). We then take the car for a spin and pull back up on the drive check oil and water again and they say you have no oil in the engine (the dipstick is on max with clean oil) then remove pressure cap to find pure black oily sludge (oh your headgasket gone mate).
No it hasn’t they’ve scammed me this is the fake head gasket trick so please be aware especially if you don’t know much about cars. Always try to have 2 people selling a car and keep an eye on the potential buyers especially if foreign (not many British people pull trucks like this).
If it wasn’t gone when you last drove it and the oil is basically pure black in the coolant all you need is a coolant flush.
And they will immediately try to get the price down as they did with me but stick to your guns and tell them your price or tell them to go home.
It was a rage a few years ago down south and didn’t really make an appearance up here but beware they’re trying their luck up here now.

Here at All in one motor services we don’t just find your next vehicle, inspect your vehicle or repair your vehicle.
We also give free advice as the main aim of my business is to prevent you (my customer) from being ripped off.
If I can help and advise I will.
I won’t tell you you need a new engine if you don’t, I won’t sell you a new engine if you need wiring issues sorting out which are preventing your engine working. I won’t tell you the car your going to buy is really good and safe if it’s not.
Because I don’t gain anything from giving you false information. I don’t get paid from the seller if you buy the vehicle I get paid from you for carrying out the inspection (fees vary and available upon request)

Another case of dodgy dealer occurred today!
When you buy a vehicle from a dealer, garage or even a friend don’t forget regardless weather it’s sold with or without warranty your consumer rights state that you have 30 days to get a full refund or get the car repaired provided it isn’t general wear and tear (caused by you)
Consumer rights act 2015 means even if the garage say it’s sold as seen it still has 30 days warranty basically unless they state the known faults with the car then these are not covered however if they don’t state the faults and it breaks the vehicle is unfit for purpose therefore in breach of your consumer rights and your entitled to a full refund or the vehicle repaired. Same as any household item basically.
Please like and share this and help people stop being robbed or scammed by dodgy sellers.

Many vehicles are actually as listed but atleast 1 in 3 are listed as good condition or mint etc with no faults and upon arrival to the inspection or during the inspection the vehicle or machine is found to have many faults which would cost the potential buyer a small fortune to repair. Good evening everyone.
Can we ask that everyone likes and shares the page and posts and asks friends and families to like and share the page and posts too.
I know a lot of people have there regular garage that they use and may have used for several years and I don’t want to steal them customers what I do want is for people to know there is a reliable mechanic that will not rip you off or cost the earth and will also give you accurate advise weather your a male, female, elderly person or even another fellow mechanic as we all have them tasks in our trades that we need help with regardless of how much experience we have.
