What a season. What a team. 💙💛 u12 girls!

At the very start of this journey, we didn’t even have a full squad. Week by week, we built, we grew and most importantly we believed. Bringing in 6 new players along the way could have unsettled things—but instead, it did the opposite. It strengthened us, united us and turned this group of girls into something really special.

From those early days of finding our feet, to going on an incredible winning streak, the progress these girls have made has been nothing short of outstanding. Every training session, every match, every challenge—they’ve shown determination, resilience and heart.

Finishing 2nd in the league is a huge achievement. And when you look at that table and see we’ve missed out on top spot by just ONE point, of course it stings a little… but what it really shows is just how far we’ve come. Competing right at the very top, pushing all the way to the final whistle of the season—that’s something to be incredibly proud of.

A massive well done to Worksop Boys’ & Girls’ Club on taking the top spot—but the bigger picture? Both Worksop teams are going up next season! That’s brilliant for everyone involved and a real reflection of the quality of our Worksop girls.

Today’s 2-0 win summed this team up perfectly. Grit, fight, togetherness. Battling right until the bitter end, leaving absolutely everything out on that pitch. That’s who these girls are.

Player of the Match: Lily ⭐️
One of our newer additions, who at times has struggled with confidence—but today she was outstanding. She’s worked so hard, kept pushing herself and today she truly delivered when it mattered. The whole team is so proud of her, and rightly so. Go Lily!!! ⚽️

To every single player—this team is more than just football. The bond you’ve built, the support you show each other, and the pride you wear that badge with… we are so lucky to call you ours.
