Glow plug replacement carried out on a Mercedes A180d 1.5 dci after I previously diagnosed an engine light and glow plug warning light present on the dash.

Whilst carrying out resistance testing I had found the glow plug on cylinder 4 had a high resistance of 15-16 ohms when it should only be showing around 1.5 ohms.

Although the relay and other plugs were all ok, the customer opted to have all 4 replaced for good measure and due to my quote being fairly priced.

Oil service carried out on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 Diesel due to the oil quality being 11% on the dashboard.

Using OE quality service parts:
-Engine oil 5w-30 Shell Helix Ultra
-Bosch Oil filter
-Sump plug washer
-Coolant top up
-Screenwash top up

Service reset carried out using diagnostic scanner to reset oil data and to make it display oil quality of 100% again.

After finding a new reliable mechanic who looks after you, the customer is happy to be up to date with his vehicle maintenance again and is now a returning client 👌🏽✅

Starter motor diagnosis and replacement carried out on a Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 2014 for a good customer of mine.

Battery, fuses and relays checked to ensure power supply was fed to the starter as the car would still intermittently start if lucky, so it could be 100% determined as mechanical failure and not electrical wiring related.

Have to say this one was challenging due to it being inaccessible behind one of the engine mounts that also needed removing and having no reach to get on anything whatsoever, however I persevered in the cold and got the job done!

Customer very grateful to be back on the road as he couldn’t get booked anywhere until early/mid January!
