We’re still looking for someone to cover me at the workshop! Just to clarify this role doesn’t involve tractors or diggers. Just cars and vans! And second clarification, I’m a mechanic with existing jobs that need finishing and customers looking to continue having work done at my place, which I can’t do.

Mechanic Required – Self-Employed Basis

Hi all, I am seeking a reliable and experienced mechanic to provide cover at my workshop in Camelford on a self-employed basis, due to my recent open heart surgery.

The successful candidate must be competent in servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and MOT preparation, with the ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship.

If you are interested, or can recommend someone suitable, please get in touch by private message. References must be provided.
For the right person, this is a long term position so that I can go back to being fully mobile doing fleet work, and let them manage the workshop.

Here’s a perfect example… customer asked us to ignore everything else wrong with this farm vehicle and just fix the broken fuel line. I shut my eyes until I was underneath it 🫣😆
